For the first time ever, this exhibition will feature approximately 20 photographs and video works from the main project of TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH, which consists of 13 artists presenting works on the theme of Tokyo in the 2020s. With the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a succession of redevelopment projects, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the meaning of Tokyo as a metropolis is being questioned from the bottom up. Please take a look at the images of “Tokyo” as reflected in the perspectives of six spirited artists responding to the times.
